Fonts

There are so many free fonts out there, I am not sure what the point of this argument is. But if you find yourself making a bit of money using someones free font - sure send 'em a complimentary fund, doesnt have to be a lot, I bet they would be thrilled.

There are many free font out there many maybe coutless fonts. How can you steal them all the font i download are free and if i use them i e-mail the owner if they probided a adress and show them my work for aproval. How can you possibly steal anyones font if they dont want them used???

ok. .I understand its not fair. And there is alot of free fonts ouu there.. which is very nice. My fault!

Dreamdesign, not all fonts are free. Good quality, professionally designed typefaces can cost hundreds of dollars.

i know the really good fonts are sold, you right....
I just cant see someone actually stealing them, but i have little knowledge inthat field.

It happens all the time. Either stealing the original font, or someone trying to make a knock-off of it. Which is the same thing, only you'll get a much lower quality font.

I have a question i loded up some fonts from 101fonts and i notice that when im choosing a font in PS7 it tends to freeze can this be due to the new Fonts?????

Building a good font may just be IS the most tedious and thankless task in all of graphic arts.

My hat's off to anyone who has the skills and patience to do it right. And my wallet's out to pay for them.
