Show Guides "Grayed Out"

I am following a tutorial and It asked me to click on View: Show: Guides but that option is grayed out. I am using Adobe Photoshop 7. Thanks.

You have to make Guides first before you can show them. :P
Enable Rulers (CTRL+R) and drag from the ruler to wherever you need to put the guide at.
