I can't seem to get photoshop plug-ins working. using PS 7 on Mac 9.2 I've tried: taking filteres out of PS folder and restarting and replacing in folder several variations and none seem to work. each time going through menus toselect the correct folder. Any ideas? I have used them in the past so I know they are there. Thanks a million. |

I'm also using OS 9.2.2 and I have no problems whatsoever. Best thing to do... Move ALL 3rd-party plugins to a new folder and name it with something you'll remember. I call mine, interestingly enough, "3rd Party Plugins". Now, in your Photoshop Preferences "Plugins and Scratch Disks" panel , make sure you check the box that says "Additional Plugins folder" and navigate to your new folder using the "Choose" button. That's all there is to it...I haven't had one bit of trouble at all with this scheme. Additionally, should you install a new plugin, install it in that "3rd Party plugins" folder. If it gives you any trouble, you'll know right where to look for it. When it comes to keeping your system running well with like this, it REALLY pays to be organized and methodical, even if everything else in your life is in disarray. It'll save you a lot of headaches. Again, beause I have been doing things this way for years, I have never had any problems that required me to call in outside help. |
