A huge flag on the screen? I don't watch too much rugby or racing so it would be nice if you could clarify. tom |

Try making the flag as normal and then including an alpha channel for the 'wave' - to implement this you should make the flag and then a new channel with black and white gradients on it (white high) run the filter lighting effects and change the options to your new alpha channel. Sure there are many tutorials on the net about this |

Patteman et al - I am extremly grateful for your replies and time. I might not have clearly posted my query so I will do so again to clarify (my fault). On UK TV when the Rugby 7 nations was on at the start of the game you saw the flags of the nations superimposed on the grass which looked excellent. I want to do the same but cn't seem to get it to look like a realistic photo - is there an easy way to do this ? Thanks again and any other help appreciated Cheers David PS I will try and get a screen grab next time |

you need the flag, which you probalby can find on google.. anyway, you need the perspective right. Do this by having your flag layer selected and go to Edit -> transform -> perspective.. mess around with the perspective untill you get it right. afterwards lower the opacity on the layer.. to maybe 40-50 (try different settings) thats should be it.. if im understanding you correctly ;) |
