text bending question

im trying to make a logo for my name and want to make it an iron cross with my name inside (EXAMPLE) but my problem is i cant get my text to go with the shape of my cross. i guess my question is is there an easy way to do this or do i just have to play with the warp text untill i get it right.

You might be able to Rasterize the text layer and go to Filter>Distort>Pinch and mess with the pinch filter. You can probably pinch just the middle by using the marquee selection tools. If this doesn't work then try to rotate the text 90 degrees before you pinch it. Im not sure if this will work or not. Good Luck
