Click the Image Menu at the top of photoshop, it's close to the File menu. Then go to Adjustments, then Hue/Saturation. Click the "Colorize" checkbox, and adjust the sliders to get the color you want. You can also just press CTRL + U to get the Hue/Saturation dialog box. |

I have to make a suggestion here. Become familiar with whats in the menus, your tool bars and your pallettes before you even attempt anything. Then you won't be getting stuck on things that don't need to be hard. If you don't know basic PS operation, then there is no way you will be able to do even the simplest of operations. Read your manual, study the aforementioned areas, then start to do some tuts. Then your life will be so much easier.

Well said Spectra And may I just add, that I don't think you should start following tutorials on how to make things/objects - but maybe beginners tutorials on the different tools and palettes... there are many of them out there. If you really want to learn photoshop - it shouldn't take that long before you can follow other tutorials - and make some exciting stuff

Spectra and Pixechick is soo right ;) nobody starts by assembling a thing (could be anything) they bought without knowing what theyre doing.. You have to learn your tools, options and most important, what you are capable of yourself.. It doesnt take that long to learn the basics in Photoshop.. And when you now the basics you will begin to challenge yourself automaticly by trying more advanced tutorials/ideas.. Good luck.. And welcome to the board ;) btw. Get that internet back now Spectra, and stop moving all the time ;) |
