okay, so I have tried ALL of the suggestions when I did a search on this and NOTHING is working!! These images are going to go on a mini slide of our products on our new website, but I can't seem to get the image focused....I would upload the image but Picturetrails is down. I swear this darn thing will be the death of me!! The image size is 52 pixels (height) and 26 pixels in width. PLEASE HELP!!!! |

So you have a 52 x 26 image, and you want to make it bigger? Or sharper? An image that small is going to be quite difficult to work with. You can't enlarge bitmap images without them losing quality severely. As for sharpening them, I would just try an unsharp mask. That's all I can suggest without seeing the images.

Yeah there isn't much you can do about that. It's lost most of the graphical information, and there is nothing you can do to get it back.

Do you have the original? If you are trying to squeeze a full size image into something that small - it probably wont work.

there aint no way ur going to get any more clarity outa that image - at all - there's just no more pixel detail to work with! Sharpening it will only enhance the pixels already there and it will only over distort the color in it. Even if u zoom into the pic the text you'll notice is totally unreadable and the images in it are too small to be focused - so any amount of work will only result in making it worse. If you have the original source image I can easily shrink it down, the text would have to be done seperately bc shrinking the text down along with the image only distorts it into smaller and smaller areas and the pixel res can only pick up so much at that size. So as it is, sorry there's nothing that can be done unless u can supply the original. good luck. |
