Did you try File>Save Optimized As...? The next window that will open up gives you the possibility to save it as a gif, jpg, png, etc. It also lets you chose the quality of the image.

Sorry I was thinking of the Save for Web feature on photoshop. Here's how you do it..... Open the image. Right under the bar with the close, maximize, and minimize buttons says Original, Optimized, etc. Click on the Optimized butoon. Now go to Window>Optimize to see the Optimize palette. There you can change the different file types and quality. (The palette should be in the top right of your window by default.) After that go to File>Save Optimized As and do Images Only and you are good to go |
