OT: Wacom intuos2 or graphire? how much $?

I am interested in a wacom intuos2 or graphire2?
Which one should I buy?
Where should I buy one?
The intuos2 seems a little expensive, now I also see academic editions. Is it possible to get one of these?

I also need help on size. I do mostly web graphics but some logo design stuff to. I am considering 4x5 but maybe the next size up.

I have the 6 x 8 intuos 2 though, and it is great. just the right size, and more features than the graphire.
