Are you talking about bevels? If you are, just use the layer effects or something.. If you're talking about "real" 3D effects... Photoshop is 2D. If you're a talented guy and know your perspectives and that, then just draw it in photoshop. But I doubt there's a decent way or plugin to do that in PS... |

HI, i once did a tutorial about 3d letters and it's still stuck in my head. Cant remember the site though. - You type your text in a textlayer - duplicate this and hide the topmost layer - rasterize the bottom text layer - select the entire canvas and hold alt - now you have to decide which direction you want to go with your shadow (lets say to the bottom right) - press down, right, down, right, down .... untill you are satisfied. - unhide your top layer and place it on the top left of your bottom layer If the text seems grainy, just gaussian blur it a bit and then press filter => sharpen => unscharp mask untill you get a result you like |
