pen tool

just wondering after u draw something with the pen tool
how would u fill it in
or how would u select the area of the shape u drew

use the 'Path Selection Tool' on your tool bar to directly selct the entire path

OR
use the 'Direct Selection Tool' (underneath the Path Selcetion Tool) to directly select specific anchor points on the path

OR
also with this selected, click and drag over the areas of your path to select theanchor points you want

OR
hold the Alt + Click on the Edge of your Path also works

once any of the above is done, right over the Path(provided either the Direct/Pen/Shape tools are active on the toolbar), then choose 'Fill Path'...

there is also a paths tab in the layer's pallete that is created when you use the pen tool.
