deleting text

newbie here
im trying to edit or delete the text on this image but i have no clue how.
i want to put Hexy in instead of whats there, but i dont wanna mess the background up too bad.
are there any shortcuts? or do i have to pain-stakingly edit it manually?

you're going to have to do it manually, unless of course you've got the .PSD with the text on it's own layer....

I suggest you try taking the bg-stuff from between the letters, using the stampTool with a very small brush or something. It won't get perfect tho.
You're not trying to "steal" someone elses graphic are you? :p

Here ya go. It'll be quicker, and cooler to make your own and not have to steal someone else's work!!!! Use his idea if you want a starting point, but MAKE YOUR OWN!!!! Woohooo! Like I said.... lucky day.

i really do suck at makin sigs tho
its not like im stealing the sig really
their are 29 others made up jus for my nhl2003 league, but, the guy who made them had to quit. and i havnt seen him online since.
ill see what i can some up with i guess

if you wanna "borrow someone else's graphic" try just placing it in your open illustrator or photoshop document and tracing it, at least then YOU made it, although, legally speaking, its not yours, it would be the original authors work...

He did steal someone else work.They where made for our league.By a friend .Who happen to get to busy to stay in the league.The only problem is he did not give us the orginal copy of the sigs.(The psd or png)


But we get new GM's all the time,An it would be nice to give them the sig with there name on it.If my friend would show up online again.I would just ask him.But we haven't seen him in over 3 months now.

Oh Howzy.I already did this sig anyway.It not hard bud.I just change it a little ,well doesn't have the same background ,where the name is.Thats was pretty hard to duplicate.
