Save the file as a tiff and make sure the image is CMYK. You should never print RGB Jpegs.

Also, just because you see that nice shade of blue on your screen doesnt necessarily mean that is the color it is. Your monitor might not be well color matched. And yes your printer is probably printing in CMYK. check to see what the ink containers are. |

i have the image resolution at 300dpi already, in cmyk-tiff format. i'm printing a logo with colors red, black and a dark blue. when printing is done, the output color is somewhat light greenish color. the blk don't appear to be black much so with the red. i've set the printers properties to its default settings w/c i usually does when i print. hope you could help me with this one. |

Um, are your ink cartridges running low? You should be able to choose three different settings to print at in the print dialogue that pops up in windoze. You might be printing a quick print rather then one at best quality.

is your photoshop configured for color management? If your color management is screwed up, you'll always have a surprise when printing.
