I've been hacking around all morning trying to remember how to create my own line tools, specifically a dotted/dashed line. can anyone point me in the right direction? |

Personally I'd make a new image, say for example 1 px high x 3 px wide...zoom in on it so you can see it...color one of the three pixels the color you'd like your line to be, select all, edit>define pattern. Now go into the document that you'd like to put your line...create a new layer, use the single row or single column marquee and fill the pattern you just created into it. Trim away the parts you dont need and that should do it. There may be an easier way to do it though...anyone?

Try 2 use a brush! Make your own brush similar with a square and at the brushes pannel on expert mode click the Shape Dynamics and play around with Jitter! Try Control-> direction or initial direction! if u don t like it try useing with a pen tool! Aaaa don't forget to set the spacing in brush type shape! This should make a working line in any directions...
