Just looking for some opinions out there, I despretly (can't spell desperately to save my life) video card and monitor. Right now I just have the cheap stuff that comes in our standard PC build. So I am looking for some hot combos of what is good in cards and monitors. The stuff I have now doesn't even come close to representing what actually prints, really bloody annoying. So let me know what you folks think are the best to give an accurate view of what is going to come out of my printer. Thanks |

hmmmmmmm...might not be a monitor/graphics card problem. you might be printing with colours not able to be made with an...inkjet(?) printer. You can pick up a nVidea G-Force 4 graphics card for...about....£60 I think. And a decent monitor ...Hmmmmm..Im not sure, I still use the monitor I got with my PC. |

i like my syncmaster 765 MB + gfc4 ti4200...although I wish i had waited for the ti4600 to drop...that would've been smarter.

Thanks much folks, I have the gf4 4600 at home and it is really good. I was just unsure whether there was a good escentially 2d card. I ask because Photoshop doesn't really require the power of a 3d card like the gf4 does it? The syncmaster is a good monitor, I will look into that, Thanks again. |
