Indenting text [into metal]

I know that this is probably on most tutorial sites, in fact I think I remember seeing it somewhere. How do you make text indented into metal? An example would be a gun that has writing in it.

A simple bewel and emboos should do the trick...

Technique = Chiseled hard
Diretion = Down

Play a bit with the seting and you should get something good

Inner Shadow could also fo the trick...
