Hey, I've been feeling like a moron lately, and is really getting to me. Heck I don't freakin know what this thing is called... http://www.lucasarts.com/products/outcast/html/ If you look on the ends of the actual interface, you'll see some "sloping" around the edges. How do you achieve this affect? |

Try Layer >>> Layer Style >>> Bevel and Emboss and play around with the settings a bit.

the actual shape would have been designed using the Pen (P) tool and then apply what Malevolent suggested.... for info about these shapes check out my Pen Tool tuts here http://www.heathrowe.com/tutorials.asp cheers heathrowe |
