It is a very large arguement... What you pick is what you pick.... Saying that you have a warez *btw its wares not warez* version of the program in a forum like this can only bring you heat... Ive seen people go down to piracy.... if your not smart then your sharring a cell with a 6'4 harry guy 350 pounds of solid muscle called Bubba. That scene is crumbling because of people who are not carefull.... Which is good for the programmers... Good for the economy and makes any buisnesses or people with licenses to software very happy that they know nobody else got a better deal than them. The other side of the arguement is " Well I'm not making any money off this program so why should I pay for it like the webmaster and the photographer?" Well the reason here is that you develope skill while using a copy of the program if you bought it or not..... The fact that you have learned how to do something in photoshop should mean that the programmers get more than a "Hey thanks for the 3l33t softare dudez" Now if we could measure the price on software by how much it is usefull to us then a lot more people would probably pay for it but it is a set price..... You pay for the cd, the book and the box.... Which I may add is way way better than looking at a PDF file of the book in any wares version... But hey... on the same wave if you have a registered copy and you are really angry about it then just kindly ask the admin to send the provider and location to the propper authorities.... Flaming and making threats to someone isn't going to make them go out and pay thousands of dollars for the 400 cd's they have sitting in spools at home... So why bother. edit:Guess I'm a little late on this post |
