I was wondering what is the best way to balance the colors in images that are used on a web-site? If there are like 20 different images, but you have to have a certain 'feel' to them all. I've tried with Hue/saturation, color balance etc., but I never get the same effect for different photos. What I'd need is a matching mask or something. Please, help! Thank you!

You could try making an action for whatever you want to add to a picture... Hue/Saturation and so on... Don't really know how to do it faster. But the reason why you don't get the same effect with different images, is proberly because they ARE different, colors, contrast and so on...

The actions palette is by default in the history palette.

Like pixelchick said, if you attempt to create an action to do this for you...you'll probably get varying results depending on the images you're attempting to manipulate.

You might try lowering the saturatation or completely desaturating them and then try adjusting the Hue slider with the "colorize" box checked. I'm not sure if this is the look that you're going for, but it should give you semi-uniform results with an action.

Hope this helps.

Wow, thanks! I didn't think of that alternative at all! That should do the trick. The thing is that those particular pictures will be on the main bar of the site, so they have to have certain same kind of feel to them even though they are different pictures. I'll try that. Thanks once more
