i'm trying to cut the little white lines in each side of the combined pics while retaining the middle pic bigger... obviusely, a crop action will is not the answer. i'm trying to lasso the pic and press the del key or the clear option but it wouldn't do anything. i also try this magic wand tool on the white part and it will mark it but when pressing clear or del ket it will still do nothing.

please help. i just want to learn how to remove a certain part of a pic... can't i just mark a certain part and remove it? i'm really noob in this... i spend 2 days on it. please help.

I cant see the picture, sorry. if you really want you can e-mail it to me at trhaynes@hotmail.com

if the part you're cutting out is white then you might not notice a difference when you take it out because the (possibly) white background may be showing through. perhaps click the eye next to the background layer to stop viewing it. then you might be able to see if its's cut out or not.
