I need to know some good tips, comments, or tutorials on making a website banner thats attractive and kinda minimalisitc!

you're really asking for.......what exactly?
How to make stuff look good? Or the size of a banner?
If you haven't got a clue how to make something, you probably shouldn't be doing it. :p jk

Im a newbie and I understand the tutorials. that is if you just want to make the effect. but sometimes when they tell you to use the edit curves function, it might be nice if they explain exactly what it is or what it does. or just in general, it might be nice if they explain why you're using different filters or adjustments.

but overall its pretty easy to understand the tutorials...
