Plug-Ins

Anybody know some good plug-in software i could buy? I heard the Corel KPT Power Tools 5.0 was really good, but are there any more that i could look at that are just as good, or even better?

Eyecandy 4000 is decent. It's expensive but then again,

and is there any place i could buy Corel KPT Power Tools 5.0 because Amazon doesnt have it, and the Corel site doesnt even acknowledge its existence - meaning they dont have it either. Is it not being made anymore? I couldnt even find 6.0.

I'm not trying to sound rude moOchan but what's your point? It's not like I gave him a link to download it and i specifically told him it was illegal. And besides, I already knew the rules so you didn't have to link them for me.

I think line one of the rules states it pretty simple. So your jumping on !mo0's case is not going to be well supported around here. It goes beyond the moral issue of stealing intellectual property - It jeopradizes this forum. If Pank were to allow these kinds of threads about warez, etc. He would get a legal notice shutting this forum down. So please, if you know the rules, then dont push it. Use your brain, it should be obvious.

i mean no offense to anyone for what i'm about to say, but how did my Q about where to buy the Corel program plug-in turn into an ethical issue about stealing?

all i wanted to know is where i could buy it, or some other program that i can use. So can anyone give me some info about some good, advanced plug-in sofware that i can buy. I really dont believe in stealing. I mean my friend downloaded the Photoshop 7.0 upgrade and said he would burn it for me, but i went out of my way and spent $100 on the upgrade. So forget that he mentioned downloading it, and please tell me where i can buy some good plug-in software. [i dont care about price]

Jump on board and get a subscription to the PublishingPerfection catalog. It's great reading for the bathroom.

I DO make the rules and I'm going to ask you kindly 1 time to not reffer to anything like you did. There are very good reasons for this. If you need an explanation PM me and I'll be more than happy to explain to you why this will NEVER EVER be tolerated on this board.

With that said I'll look into where KPT 5 can be purchased legally Vicious.

In my opinion it is one of the best Plug's you can get for PS. As with any plugin be careful not to abuse it. If used wisely it can save you a ton of work. And if used wisely people will never know you even used it ;)

Yeah, Pank...I commented in another similar, recent thread that it's a crime that the earlier versions of the KPT sets went into hibernation. When I got KPT 5 as a Xmas present a couple-three years ago I was happy to find that all of the KPT 3 filters were included as a secret, unannounced bonus on the CD.

KPT 5's ShapeShifter is brilliant; Smoothie, Noize and Blurrr do things no other filter does as easily.

KPT6's Equalizer blows Unsharp Mask out of the water. I think there might be something similar by NiK, but I'm not sure.

These should ALL be available...they'd still make money for their owner, I'm sure. Which makes me wonder if Corel owns them ALL. Maybe they'll be released again for a limited time—like some Disney movie—then put back in the "vault" for another 5 years?
