pictures togheter

how do I put some pictures together in a way they seem like one picture?

for example you can see the picture that is next to the logo in this site http://www.chabadmorumbi.org.br/index_flash.htm

simply enough Kl3v3r
have your images on separate layers
on each individual layer apply a layer mask, then a gradient from foreground to transparent
then apply the same to the other image layer but in the direction that u need that blending....

and man.... I really loved the tutorial, your tutorials page is now in my favorites, its exactly what I was looking for: a tutorial with levels for begginer and intermediate (you know, Im yet a begginer).
