I know how to merge layers and I _thought_ it was the same as linking them but I guess not. How do you link layers? And what does Rasterize mean? Thanx

rasterize means to turn a vector into a bitmap. so like if you draw something with the pen tool, it is a vector. and you can resize it and reshape it at will. if you vectorize it, it becomes a bitmap and is no longer easily editable. to link layers, just click the little box next to the "eye" on the layer in the layers palette. |
