sorry if this has been asked a million times, but after years of doing more Flash than PS, I didn't realize that I had missed the KPT 5.0.1 Update (which supposedly allows importing effects presets :thumbsup The Corel site doesn't even have a KPT section on it anymore, and seeing as the software is 6 years old, the don't have a downloadable update:( (does anyone know if they still offer support for KPT?) thanks all jizzer p.s. since this is my first post;) I just wanted to say that my nic 'jizzer' has almost nothing to do with sex;) It has to do with the fact that I'm a rough and tumble street gangsta. "You can download the KPT 5.0.1 update via MetaCreations' convenient electronic software delivery (ESD) procedure (their words not mine). It is a pain but it is worth it. Contact Metacreations (or your original supplier) as you will need a new serial number." http://www.creatively.nildram.co.uk/Gallery/gallery_2.htm http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&client=googlet&q=%22KPT+5.0.1%22+Update+download |

Thanks for the help d9 fyi, if you do a search for the KPT Update on Google, the first link to the Corel site is dead if you click on it....BUT if you hit the "Cached" option under the link, Google still has the old page saved |

That KPT versions 3, 5 and 6 are not still freely available is ridiculous, as there are items that are still quite useful in those sets. When I got KPT 5 for Xmas a couple years ago, I was happily surprised to find that the CD also held a full version of all the KPT 3 filters. Has this been the case with version 6 or 7? I bought KPT 6 via ESD, so perhaps there was more on the actual CD...Haven't bought or tried KPT 7. |

Quite useful, no kidding. I still keep the KPT 2.1 Texture Explorer loaded and on the ready (I didn't really care for version 3's Tex Explorer as well)
