I'm no newbie with Photoshop or anything, I've actually been using it for the past few months. But anyway, let's get to the point. Now, I'm learning how to make chromes and such. However, there's a part where it says to "Click Effects". But there's a problem. I do not see the "Effects" section anywhere. I suppose it's in the "Filter" section, but I can't see it there either. Am I supposed to see it right in front of me, or is it located under a section? All I know, is that I cannot see the "Effects" section. Please help me. Thanks for all the help given. :D |

The tutorial is at http://www.guistuff.com. But here's the direct link to the tutorial. Look at Step 3. The 1st few words will say "Click Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel" I want to know where the "Effects" section is. But here's the link to the tutorial. Look at Step 3. http://www.guistuff.com/article.shtml?psp_chrome |

That tutorial is for Paint Shop Pro, not Photoshop. For a similar style in Photoshop, try Layer > Layer Styles > Bevel and Emboss. And you may be able to achieve the same effect. |

There's a nice Chrome tutorial here at TeamPS for PS6: Chrome Tutorial Mark, from DesignsByMark.com, has one similar to the GUIStuff tut: Chrome Tutorial Psionic also has a quick Chrome tutorial that is pretty cool: Chrome Tutorial That should give you some options. |

I'm not looking for chrome text. I'm looking for chrome spheres. |

Well, Ive applied those tutorials on things other than text. Some of the settings might need adjusting accordingly (depending on the object), but they've worked good. I've made chrome text, chrome balls, chrome 468 x 60 banner borders and some other stuff....all with just Psionic's tut. Just thought I'd point them out. |
