Well, I've only had photoshop for about 3 or 4 days now and i've been looking at random sites, i have a HUGE list of tutorial sites, but since i dont know EXACTLY what i'm looking for i can't find a damn thing that will help me figure out my problem, this forum is my only chance really, lol....Well ok, im looking at other peoples work, as i've said, and i see they've added pictures of people, or whatever, for their colab...WELL, they have a really transparent backround and things.....where they take a picture that has a backround on it im sure, and basically remove the backround and have only the image in their colab.....now when i download say a 2pac picture, has him in it, then it has a bblack backround...how do i get rid of that black backround.....and have just him (the image) without screwing up the image?.....lol i might sound confusing but if u have Yahoo Messenger....i can explain further if u dont understand, or even give primary examples if this is needed....anyone who can help please get back to me

Question number 1 -Did you buy a book? If the answer is not (and i bet it is) thren you should buy one! I recomend Phoytoshop Bible... In order to combine many pictures into one you need to extract part of your image... you have these option -Lasso tools -Extract (in filter menu) -Quick mask -Magic wand (quik but low quality) Then once your element is selected (small moving lines aroud-it) the use the Move tool to place it with the others... Again let me remind you the importance of a good book... |

If the background is pure black, in Photoshop just select the Magic Wand, click on the black area and hit delete. You may have to play around with the tolerance settings for the Wand (up on the tool options bar) if you select too much, or too little. |
