hey i just made the below image a few questions.... 1 right now i jsut cut the letters off to make a circle. how can i make the letters in to a circle my morphing them rather then cutting them out cuz that looks like crap ( if you cant read it ... it says 28 on the record) 2 how can i make the arm to the record player look better cuz now it aint too good 3. anything i could do to make it look more like a record player without crouding it up... it will be a logo so it shouldent be that complex thanks alot |

draw your numbers by hand and scan them in, then based off that create the same in ps.

Try making your numbers warped into the circle, rather than cutting them off. Also try a different angle for the record player so the arm isnt cutting across the record. |

wouldn't it be easier to make the numbers smaller than your "record" and make them white - you could "cut" them out of the record (black record that is) and distort the font with the "buldge" thing... also for the arm you need a little perspective- try looking at the real thing from your pics' angle... but the perspective now is wrong - look at the way you made the dials (or whatever) - the black circles - those have an accurate perspective - now look at the round end of your arm ...see what I mean?
