Hi I was wondering how I could take a grainy photo such as this one http://www.darkclownz.com/pic_kb_401.jpg and make it look like it was shot in a studio like for the soul purpose of publication on the web or in a mag instead of it looking like a stock photo. Also I was wondering if there was a way I could take a photo such as the one above and increase its size without making it either pixelated or extremely blury. thanks for your time. Brodie Yazaki |

hmm well maybe just make it a little clearer... so that it doesn't look so fuzzy... I just want to make the picture look cleaner is all. And was that a no to both questions? So there is no way to enlarge the picture without it become extremely pixelated?

you'll never be able to expand it perfectly, but a method that might help is this: expand the image far more than you need it - perhaps even 10 times bigger. apply a lot of guassian blur to remove the pixellation, and then shrink it down to the size required. Its not perfect but it might help. |
