Hey, I was looking through the old posts and came across this one by Zvansen, and I was wondetring how he made the laser blue thingy coming out o fthe spaceship, any help? Thanks http://www.casual.dk/extra/ship/ship.jpg

Look at the tutorial on lightning at team photoshop.
To get a glow like that draw a straigt line light blue color, duplicate the layer and put a guassian blur on it and put it behind the first layer. Do that again with a bigger gaussian blur. Also play with the blending modes for an increased effect.
