font on dark background?

Hi,

I have this stupid problem, I want to make a header for my new site... In this header I use a cool font and do some bevel and emboss on it. The background of the header is transparent because my site has a background with a motive. But when I save the header and place it into my page, there is a white border around the font, how can I solve this? I already tried with brushing some black around the font, this helps, but you can still see it has been done the wrong way :confused:

when u choose 'Save for the Web' - make sure its a gif, with transparency on, and in the 'Matte' option choose from the drop down 'None' or choose 'Other' and use the color that best matches the header color...
