I manually created text around a circle using layers and the text rotating function. Now I would like to change the color of each of the letters. Do I have to individually select each layer to do this? Thanks! Jennifer |

Yes you will. I thought that by linking the layers it may work, but it doesnt. But really, its not that hard a job. Click the layer, hit the type tool, then go up into the top of the window and change the colour. If you are concerned about not keeping the colour consitent, just copy and paste the colour number on each layer (in the colour palette of course).

u could rasterize the text/link them all/then merge linked, then in the blending modes choose the Color Overlay option to the color required (duplicate the orig's first as a back up) heathrowe |

It is possible to change the colours, size, virtually everything including using the warped text options. Spectra was nearly there with the linking of layers principle. You need to select one of the type layers and then link the others that you wish to include. Then just hold down the Shift key and make your desired changes. Simple as that! Ahhh the hidden power of PS eh? ;) |

Heathrowe it looks like I have egg on my face at the moment, I can't seem to do it either. I was sure the way I mentioned was possible, perhaps it was my imagination but my finger is getting as sore as yours :p hmmm a real puzzler I was convinced that it could be done and that Shift was the key (no pun intended) |
