alright im really know so don't laugh.... i'm trying to put text on a black background, so when i press the t button and do that junk, it turns the background red at first, then ill type in my text, and it is like wavey afterwareds (it moves and stuff.) and then it wont let me filter anything on the text. how do i make it go back to normal????? need help please |

all thats happened is your text tool has been set to creat a path instead of real text. Click on the text tool and up on the left hand side of the screen you should see 2 little buttons with T's on them. One T is just like an outline. Click on the one that says normal text, instead of create a path

wel thanks for the help, but i don't have anything like that in the left corner. i have two t boxes, one is greyed out, so i click on the other one and it just says all these horizontal types....hmm im an idiot......i think i will just reinstall adobe to fix it

Either Shift + T or just T, should cycle through your text options.
