Well, this is a first for me. Everytime I use "Save For Web" and then try to preview my image by clicking one of the many browsers I have preset to do this task, I get the following error message (see link below). It doesn't matter what file (psd) I have open. I even created a new one to see if it was a glitch with an existing PSD to no avail. Anybody got any advice? Have you ever had this happen? I'm behind in a project because of this goofy error that's bugging the %$*#@ out of me!! Here's the link to an image of the error message: http://home.twcny.rr.com/mysticalride/error.gif |

Wow! 34 views and no answer or advice. I must have something really unique here. I still have the problem and I have no clue how to fix it. I know there's either a file or a registry entry somewhere that needs to be removed to fix it. How it happened initially, I have no idea. If I find a fix, I'll post it here for the "archives"....lol. |

Detail your steps precisely for us so that we can replicate the effect if possible. Also list your specs and what version of Windows and PS you are using. |

Try this utility that will clean out your registry: http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/shtml/software.shtml download the power tools. Run the registry tools --> tools --> Registry cleaner. Uninstall Photoshop, then run this tool. That will take out anything that doesnt exist in the directory. Also this removes any legacy crap that software leaves behind - like when you install trial versions. Check your error logs in your event viewer and see if an ID number comes up, then go to www.eventid.net and check it out and see what might be the problem. Good luck! |

did you upgrade to v7.01 ? - really good fixes from v7 to the upgrade. Try that, too. I know it fixes the type glitch in v7 - that alone makes it worth the upgrade, to me. good luck |
