Curious about this sig..

Hi I have a question reguarding this pic here. I'm just curious as to how this was made. it's so cool, but as far as actually making it then it looks almost impossible to do. How was this done? Thanks for any help

I'll start you off with making the grid/blocky type thing.

•Set your foreground and background colours to black and white.
•Filter > Render > Clouds.
•Filter > Pixelate > Mosaic, choose about 10 pixels.
•If you want the accentuated edges do: Filter > sharpen > unsharp mask, play about with the settings, but choosing a 3 pixel radius and between about 100% and 200%.

the original image was probably some concept art or rendering from Gundam... looks like Deathscythe custom from Gundam Wing *barf*, i don't even know why wing is so popular :\
