How to draw gridlines?

Is there a way to draw gridlines? I have drawn them out by hand in the past, but wanted to know if there is a tool that could do it for me. . .

CTRL + "

And you can set the size of the grid in Edit > Preferences > Guides, Grid & Slices

Ok, that makes them visible, but how do I make them show up in the final image?

Have a look at THIS plugin, by Greg Paret. It's old but works great.
