I'm making a 12cm x 12cm flyer which will mostly consist of text - words not blocks of paragraphs - and wondered what my pixel settings so it all prints out OK. What should I set the options for the canvas to? Cheers in advance. |

you can set the canvas size in cm under image>canvas size. You printer is likely to print out at about 300dpi, but for a flyer, no more than about 72 should be necessary. If you can keep edges sharp and plenty of contrast so its readable, you should have no problem.

what kind of a "flyer" are you talking about... b/c for just a black and white "high contrast" job 72/in should be fine... but if you are talking about a CMYK glossy type of flyer i would step it up to 300, but i would also consult the printer (pre-press/flight guy) if you are getting it printed at a litho house
