Hashing tool?

Hey

A client wanted me to find out some information about using the hashing tool. I guess he heard about it from someone, and its supposed to be useful to photographers. Its a tool, or something in photoshop. I have no idea what it is, or is supposed to do. If anyone can make sense of my post, or knows of a "hashing tool" please let me know.

(I feel like a retard, i did not right the above text, i have to go to sleep)

Never heard of it.. Your client probably just doesn't know the correct name for it.

Maybe it is the PATCH tool...

its similar to the healiing tool and lie hidden under it..
