Copyright symbol

I read that you can insert the © into a photoshop pic by typing 0169 while holding down the Alt key like I just did here. When I try this in Photoshop 7 all I get is a rectangle box............It works for me in other apps, just not here. Any ideas? Thanks!

your most likely using a font that does not come with the copyright symbol most likely... try with another font.

or, use the number pad keys (make srue Numlock is on.)? That is a wild guess.

And yeah, the font you're using probably doesn't have the © symbol.

Or you could insert the copyright shape. Got to custom shaped and one of them is a copyright sign.

alternatively you could copy the symbol from another app eg: browser, etc. and pasted that puppy

Yeah, on a PC go to Character Map, choose your font, and then you can copy and paste it into a document. For a Mac, I think the program is Key Caps. It works more or less in the same way.
