Help with Saving Format.

Hi. I'm new here. My name is Brendan. My question is that when I'm using my copy of Photoshop 5.5, when i go to save, the only format I can save is .psd. How do i change it to be something as a .jpeg or .gif?

Make sure the image is flattened. Go to layer>flatten image. Also make sure your color mode is RGB in order to save as JPEG.

Don't you have to use the "Export" function in PS 5?
