One time on accident i found a way to make the eraser tool a square so that i could erase by pixels. Is there a way to do this to the brush tool? (I also would like to know how to do this for the eraser because i forgot how.)

Use the pencil tool... same function except it replaces pixels instead of deleting them.

just press the "[" button until you are down to a one pixel brush.
