You could take a digital pic of an orange light or even a cigarette with your cameras shutter open in the dark. After that care fully delete some of the dark areas, trying to save the the orange streaks, create layers of increasing gaussian blurs and place them on underlying layers on a new dark background or the original background. You could probably play with orang and yelllow pen strokes and blending modes. I find there are always multiple ways of solving problems in photoshop.

on his forum he said he uses aribursh in PS, anyoneknow how to go about it, that effect looks so sweet imo
