island with waves crashing on the beach

Im going to try and create a varient on that scene that PS 7 has when it loads to open. How do I make the beach with the small waves rolling onto it?

I think it would be overkill to try to recreate an ocean... Just use a picture.

I like your view. but i have feeling that psp is not enough for this popus. i think addition filter like DreamSuite is required to do it, i would try the Plastic Warp filter that comes with DS package.

i'll try it myself but i have feeling that the orignal poster meant to the small waves rolling onto the beach. but this tutoerial gives an exellent point to start.
