Ok, this is really dumb but i need help. How should i insert text? I can't figure out how to insert text in a new file. Please help |

I am dealing with a new photoshop file. I click new then ok then how should i just put some text. That's all i want to know. How should i insert text? After clicking onm the text tool, then what?

Write the text you want on 5 seperate 100 dollar bills (or 500 one dollar bills) and then put it under your monitor, set it on fire, and watch it all burn. Read the manual... else, .... read the manual again. |

:D just click on any part of the 'new file' and type or click+hold and drag to make a 'text box' then start typing. |

No.......after clicking and draging, a lined box comes where i clicked and dragged, then on typing nothing happens, when i click inside the box, the text comes so small that even after zooming like ten million times all i can see are black boxes??? what's wrong?? |

Don't click and drag. Just click, then type. You are trying to drag out a text box. You don't want to do that. Click once with the type tool, then type. That should do it... |

Set the resolution to 72ppi. Go to Image->Image Size and there's a box where it says resolution. |
