Nice glow in the dark effect??

I'm trying to make a glass/crystal ball glow in the dark and have the glow emanating from a central point within the ball....anybody have any ideas? Does this belong in a 3d forum?

Play around with gradients and layer styles, particularly 'inner glow' and 'outer glow'.

naw....sorry i don't. I will see what i can come up with myself......does anybody have a great 3d looking crystal ball tutorial?
