I have a question regauring a photo effect I have seen. The effect is a object with a line around it. The line is off-center from the image. Is there a way to make an object cutout and leave only a outline of the object? Thanks! |

Is there an example on the web? I can probably help you with this, since it sounds really simple, but I don't know the exact effect you're after. |

I lost the bookmark :( It was a picture of an apple I belive. It had the apple against a white background and there was an outline of the apple off-center about 1inch from the edge of the colored apple. Basicaly I need to know how to cut out the color of an object and leave just a outline. I tried the stoke setting but in my case the object is a coaster. The picture I took the coaster from has a blue background which I erased with the color selection tool. When I tried the stoke method it added the stroke setting to alot more then the object itself. |

well if its on all the same layer then you prolly stroked the entire layer. You could select just the coaster copy it and when you paste the copy it will be on a new layer, Then stroke
