Sorry for such a vague title I just couldnt think of anything else.... Anywho...I know this may be a little elementary to some of you, but I was wondering if someone could tell me how they did the background image on this site. http://www.ethosurban.co.uk I know how they did everything else, just that background has eluded me. Any help would be appreciated. |

White to color gradient, top-to-bottom, on the Background.. Properly spaced vertical white lines on Layer 1. Create a gradient mask over the lines (black-to-white, top-to-bottom), turn that mask into a selection, and delete the selected area in Layer 1. Flatten. Crop accurately so the image will tile properly on the webpage. Use it as your page background image. This is one way, of many, of doing it. Experimentation will be necessary in order to get the gradients and the mask/selection to break where you want them to. |

use the patterns tool....make a little grid....about 5px by 5px...select all....edit>define pattern. and fill>pattern choose pattern. then make another one with just vertical lines...and add under the grid pattern. and add gradient mask to grid pattern |
