Hi all~ (I also posted this in the beginner/new forum but figured I'd try here as well) I just found your lovely forum a few minutes ago and hope to learn and share. I'm a beginner/intermediate designer looking for help along with way with techniques, tricks, etc. Especially with print. Thanks! My official first question: I need to scan in colour photos that will be output in black & white for a CD booklet project. What's the best way to do this? Should I scan them in as greyscale or colour first; then desaturate them via channels? Thanks again! |

I think it's best when you scan them as color because you lose some information when you scan it as grayscale. I just heard this somewhere, could be wrong. |
