The CD comes with a lot of examples. Read through those files, then just get in there and start playing!

7 or 5, i don't remember... ahahaha. If you paid $150 for them I think you would remember. Just a warning, do not talk about warez in this forum. As for your question, Utopian has a good answer. |

there really isnt many tutorials for plug-ins. Plug-Ins are aimed at the user, the push your creativity....use what you think suits your image. KPT is $150? I'd rather just create the effects with an airbrush. I've been strapped for cash since i bought Photoshop 7. I still have debt too :|. |

They are 3rd party plug in filters u use with photoshop, or a program like that. If you need an effect fast, lets say chrome text, 3d-like effect, etx. then they are great. I dont use 3rd party filters, but the KPT series seem the best if you plan on getting one. They can do some more complex effects rather quickly. Photoshop has all sorts of native filters you already use.

I've researched a bit on KPT 7. they've dropped some of the decent filters which were in KPT 5 and 6. Eye Candy 4000 = a good 3rd party plug in |
