How do you add two stroke outlines to text? Meaning, the first stroke should be colored white, and the next stroke outside of the white color should be red. TIA. |

2 Easy ways: 1---- If you cntrl-Click the text in the layer pallet you can select it --> Stroke accordingly. Next (while still selected) go to Select --> modify --> Expand (1 pixel?) --> stroke again with the new color (probably on a new layer for each stroke.) 2 --- Just select the text --> stroke 1 pixel while still selected --> stroke again 2 pixels (make this layer underneath the the 1 pixel stroke layer.) might need to adjust a bit here and there, but either should work. |

Do you duplicate the original text layer to do this? |

Here are two quick examples: One and Two I only used a text layer, two stroke layers, and the background. It came out better on #2 because I actually selected the text, increased the selection (select --> modify --> expand 2 pixels.) and filled the layer. This went behind the text. so the layers were stacked like this: stroke text fill Background. This should clarify it. |

Maybe this will help as well: Write the text you want, goto Layers and resterize/text. Then goto Edit and Stroke Set the stroke to 'inside' (if the text is big) 'outside' (if the text is small) and make it 2 px wide, color white. then do it again but this time make it 1 px wide and choose the other color 'red' hope that helps |

You can't set two strokes at the same time. ;) |
